Dear members, colleagues & friends!
First of all, we would like to wish you a great start of 2022!
We would like to give you a little insight into our activities of the past weeks in 2021. Due to Corona, we unfortunately were not able to get together in person as a new Board. This, of course, stalls our progress a bit. We do hope to be able to meet in person in April 2022 and have a full work weekend together.
Furthermore, we have been looking into our requirements for our training and looked at having the requirement of a large group of 30 hrs. During these pandemic times, this is a difficult requirement to fulfil, but also has been difficult in non-pandemic times. Please let us know your thoughts on this requirement: what are the benefits of going through this large group process? And what other requirement could replace this stipulation? Of course, this large group process can also be done online, but it is different than life. Should you have experience with this process life or online, please inform us about your experience, as we need your input! Should you already have informed us about your point of view on this issue, of course, we took notice of your position.
We are also looking into our certification process in order to streamline the process as well as rearranging administrative processes, so that future Boards can take over smoothly, as well as clarifying some old issues. Indeed, our intention is to future proof our organisation for our 40th anniversary!
In the meantime, as initiated by the International committee, great papers on online psychodrama were gathered, which we will publish, so that all can read about varied experiences of other psychodramatists in the online realm.
So, we’re very much alive and kicking! In the new year we are planning open board meetings, so that you can ask questions and offer your assistance. We will publish the dates soon. Indeed, we are a member organisation and in order to achieve our goals, we also need your help.
Last but not least, we would like to cordially invite you to our next Members meet members “New Year´s Meeting”10th of January 2022 @ 7 p.m. (CET) to approx. 9:30 p.m. (CET) as a way to start off the new year of the Association.
