Rules of the commission of Ethics

of the Psychodrama Association for Europe e.V.:

Rule One

Paragraph 1:
Having been created as an advisory instance by the board, the commission of ethics of the Psychodrama Association for Europe e.V. gives recommendations to the board.

Paragraph 2:
The members elect a speaker of the commission from among themselves.

Rule Two

Paragraph 1:
Requests can be made in written form directly to the commission of ethics. Upon arrival of an adequate request the commission will control whether it falls within their competence.

Paragraph 2:
The commission has the right, if the necessary, to hear the parties concerned in a conflict in order to come to a judgement. In a case like this it can ask for written statements or invite to a talk.

Paragraph 3:
Recommendations of the commission of ethics are agreed an unanimously. If this cannot be achieved, the majority rules. A deviating recommendation can be adds to the commission’s recommendation.

Paragraph 4:
Recommendations of the commission of ethics are turned in to the board of the Psychodrama Association for Europe e.V. in written form. The requesting party will be informed by the commission of ethics that a recommendation to the board has been made.

Rule Three

Paragraph 1:
The speaker of the commission of ethics is part of the extended board of the Psychodrama Association for Europe e.V.. There the recommendations of the commission are discussed and justified by the speaker.

Paragraph 2:
If necessary, the commission of ethics has the right to call a members` meeting as a last instance of decisionmaking.

In correspondence to the principle „as much as necessary, as little as possible„ the guidelines limit themselves to the necessary minimum of what the commission regards as being in need of regulation regarding the ethics.
